The Comicovel cooperative, located in San Juan Intibucá, consists of smallholder producers dedicated to cultivating coffee using organic practices while prioritizing environmental sustainability. This cooperative is a direct outcome of the Blue Harvest Project, which enhances agroforestry management across farms in Central America. To date, Blue Harvest has empowered approximately 1,400 producers to transform their agricultural practices, fostering the development of ecosystems that conserve both forest habitats and freshwater resources.
